Bookmap Heatmap Indicator | Liquidity & Order Flow | KS8
KS8 Heatmap is an independent third-party Bookmap add-on that helps analysts connect displayed liquidity with executed order-flow evidence in one disciplined workflow.
What a Bookmap liquidity heatmap represents
A liquidity heatmap visualizes resting limit orders across the order book and preserves their changes through time. Brighter concentrations can reveal where passive interest is clustered, while fading or shifting bands show that displayed liquidity is changing rather than fixed.
KS8 uses that heatmap context as one layer of analysis. A visible wall is treated as information to evaluate, not as proof that price must stop or reverse.
Combine displayed liquidity with executed order flow
Displayed orders tell only part of the story. Executed volume shows where transactions actually occurred, footprint-style views organize buy and sell activity at price, CVD tracks net aggressive pressure over time, and Volume Profile shows where traded volume accumulated.
Reading those layers together helps separate a level that is merely visible from a level that is being tested, absorbed, consumed, defended, or abandoned.
Read behavior, not color alone
- Watch whether liquidity holds, pulls, refills, or is consumed as price approaches.
- Compare aggressive buying or selling with the actual price response instead of assuming that large volume must continue the move.
- Use absorption, delta/CVD behavior, and structure as confirmation or contradiction rather than standalone signals.
- Treat spoof-risk or fake-liquidity behavior as an observation; displayed orders alone do not prove a participant's intent.
Core and Pro use the same evidence differently
Core provides the advisory foundation for liquidity, volume, and market-structure reading. Pro adds deeper footprint, delta/CVD, liquidity-pressure, trap, absorption, zone-lifecycle, and contextual engines for analysts who want more order-flow detail.
Compatibility and product boundary
KS8 is analytical software designed for a Bookmap-compatible desktop workflow. Bookmap access, market data, and any required data subscriptions are separate. KS8 does not execute trades and does not guarantee outcomes.
